Following a diverse international career in consulting, digital marketing, and cross-border business development, Dan founded DKR Marketing to provide digital solutions for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Dan thrives on leveraging digital technology to bring people together.

Prior to founding DKR Marketing, Dan “cut his teeth” in digital marketing in Beijing, China, where he lived and worked from 2011 to 2018. Throughout his career, Dan has collaborated with esteemed and widely recognized businesses in diverse markets on a global scale. His professional portfolio includes partnerships with prominent entities such as the Chinese web giant Sina.com (NASDAQ:SINA), the Harlem Globetrotters, and DTE Energy, showcasing his extensive experience in a variety of international markets. Ultimately, Dan is always looking to work with new clients that have a story to tell and are up for a challenge.

Dan has always been proud to be from “Pure Michigan,” and after years of living and working in major markets, he decided it was time to come home. He now lives near his hometown of Frankenmuth, MI, with his wife, Kayla, and young daughter, Penelope. He’s thrilled about his new role – being Dad – and keeps a personal blog about his fatherhood journey at tridadlife.com

Melissa supports DKR Marketing as a marketing consultant, helping clients tell compelling stories that empower them to grow their impact. She is skilled at fostering collaboration and thrives on working with clients to develop and execute people-centric strategies.

Prior to joining DKR Marketing, Melissa served as a marketing consultant and strategic marketer at organizations big and small, ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to grassroots non-profits. She has experience in corporate and executive communications, strategic planning and cultivating online communities.

Melissa is proud and passionate about her most important role – being Mom. After several years living and working in the Detroit area, Melissa and her husband, Brandon, decided to move back to the Frankenmuth area to be near their families and to raise their three children, Cade, Allison and Tenley. She still spends her “free time” engaging in and growing a community for moms to come together for fellowship and support along their motherhood journeys.
